How to reach Rishikesh?

Via Air

One can simply arrive by air at IGI, New Delhi Airport and can take a booked flight to Dehradun, the Jolly Grant Airport at Dehradun which is the closest airplane terminal. From there one can simply book a taxi to Haritha Yogshala, Rishikesh which is usually a 60 minutes drive.

Via Train

One can easily board the train running from New Delhi to Haridwar, and the travel time is usually around 7 hours but tends to vary due to uncertain causes. It is advised to check the updated timetables for trains at Indian Railway official website.

Via Bus

The Bus form of transportation can be accessed from the Inter State Bus Terminal(I.S.B.T.) situated at Kashmere gate, New Delhi. All types of buses operate from there whether standard or deluxe versions. The journey time is usually 7 hours for the standard buses open to variation) but for the deluxe buses is usually 6 hours or less. Once at Rishikesh Bus terminal, You can take taxi or auto rickshaw to the Haritha Academy.

Drive from New Delhi

The Academy is about an one hour drive from Haridwar (30km). and 250KM from New Delhi. Travelling in a private booked car from New Delhi takes less time than a deluxe bus even though the route distance is the same i.e. 250 K.M. Since it can be a little difficult for people of other countries to manage the various details of local travel, that is why we provide the facility of car transportation.
